National Vulnerability Database (NIST)မှ Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, and Windows RT များတွင်ပါဝင်ထည့်သွင်း ထားသော TCP/IP လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တွင် inbound ICMPv6 Packet များအတွက် သင့်တင့်စွာ သက်မှတ်ထားသော Momery Allocation ပါဝင်ခြင်းမရှိပါ။ ထိုအားနည်းချက်မှ တဆင့် attacker မျာသည် denial of service attack များဖြစ်ပွားစေသော crafted packet များပို့လွှတ်၍ system ကို hang သွားစေနိုင်ပါသည်။ အသေးစိတ်အချက်အလက်ကို အောက်ပါ Link တွင် ဝင်ရောက်ကြည့်ရှု နိုင်ပါသည်။
